Gaffaney Electric prides ourself on making sure your house is lighted and wired with pristine detail and quality. We also want to make sure your house is safe for you and your family. We follow federal, state, and local electrical guidelines to ensure the job we do keeps you safe. Not looking to add on - no worries - we do service repairs as well. There is no job too small.
Commercial
We work with utility companies in rural and urban areas to help bring a brighter and cheaper option for lighting retrofit upgrades. We also do all aspects of lighting maintanence and installation.
Gaffaney Electric works with well-known restaurants, medical/dental, and retail stores throughout the Spokane and Coeur d'Alene area. We have a team of electricians that specialize in commercial remodels, troubleshooting, and new construction.

Gaffaney Electric, Inc., has partnered with GENERAC ® to provide whole-home generator installation involves the setup of a standby power system that automatically supplies electricity to an entire residence during utility outages. The process begins with a site assessment to determine power requirements and the optimal location for the generator and transfer switch.

A Spokane area native, Jim started his electrical career right out of high school. After 25 years of working for the competitors, he decided he wanted to be a resource for his family, friends and neighbors – he took the opportunity to open Gaffaney Electric, Inc.
Jim and his wife Jennifer are actively involved in the community, giving back to local organizations and helping whenever they can. Gaffaney Electric, Inc. is a proud sponsor of Ram Nation, Riverside High School Athletics, Pend Oreille County Fair, and the Riverside FFA Booster Club and Chapter.
They have two boys whom Jim hopes will join the family business in time. Until then, he enjoys watching the boys excel in sports and fishing the beautiful area lakes.

I want to take this opportunity to thank you and the folks that work for you on the outstanding job and experience in purchasing my Generac Generator. From the first call to having Rick come out and survey the job the service was prompt, professional and helpful.
Your "generator lady" fit us in and we got our Generator installed in short order. The gas contractor worked quickly and within a week your folks came back and tested the new generator. The installation crew knew what they were doing and spent less than three hours doing their job and had the electricity back on.
I had one small issue and called the office, and they dispatched your technician who was there that afternoon. The problem turned out to be with my a/c unit, but he troubleshot the system and when he left it was working well.
My wife and I want to thank you and your folks for their help, and we can now rest assured we will have power when we need it.

Thank you for your prompt response to my Generic problem. You have a wonderful employee in Brock. I wish to schedule an annual maintenance program with you. September is a good month for that. There are several residents here on Bead Lake with
generators and it would be beneficial to all of us if we scheduled them together. Would that be possible for you?
